2. Break it into sections
Right now it's one long block. Most visitors won't read it.
Use headings like:
Introduction
Information We Collect
How We Use Your Information
Cookies
Sharing Your Information
Data Security
Your Rights
Third-Party Services
Contact Us
Changes to This Policy
This makes it much easier to scan.
3. Mention UK GDPR explicitly
In the introduction, I'd write:
This Privacy Policy explains how ClientPilot collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
That immediately tells visitors you're aware of UK privacy requirements.
4. ICO reference
Instead of saying:
"...you may complain to the relevant supervisory authority."
Be specific:
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
That looks more professional for a UK business.
5. Contact section
Format it neatly rather than as one line:
ClientPilot
📞 07428 714915
🌐 theclientpilot.co.uk
6. About children's data
Our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Add a legal basis section
This is a useful addition under UK GDPR:
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal information where it is necessary to respond to enquiries, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue our legitimate business interests, or where you have given us your consent.
